John Nilsen FCA, holds a practicing certificate,  is a qualified auditor and the principal of Nils Accounting. He has many years experience in senior accounting roles with responsibility for audit compliance, as well as experience auditing organisations requiring such compliance services.

John is passionate about supporting not for profit organisations and has worked for a number of charities, so understands the pressures and demands for delivery of good financial stewardship and meeting regulatory requirements in this space.

In his spare time John enjoys getting together with family and friends , and exercising as much as possible, including taking advantage of the extensive walkways in the Auckland environs.
